Q # 3771987

Question:

02-02-02; Concerning the Yucantan Peninsula where supposedly an asteriod hit the earth 65 million years ago. Scientist have no real proof that this really occurred. The theory is based on data that have alternative explanations. Matter of fact, many believe it to be the remains of a volcano. Concerning the fossil record, “the fossil record does not show an instaneous demise of the dinosaurs. Sone dinosaurs died out within the Cretaceous period while others apparently survived well into the Tertiary period, millions of years later in evoluntary thinking.” This quote was taken from an article written by Don B. DeYoung, Ph.D. You and your readers may obtain said article at the Institute for Creation Research site(www.ICR.org You can make a search for Yucatan or Impact No.334) if you do not mind reading an opposing view. To many of us, the fossil record does not prove an old earth but Noah’s flood.

Answer:

I don’t know specifically how God destoyed the orginal earth, but the Scriptures tell us that God did judge Satan and his angels who were on the earth and the earth was judged with them. I am looking forward to the instant replay in heaven one day.
