Question:
Dr. Lindstrom, I’ve heard you speak of the seven years of tribulation immediately after the rapture and before Jesus returns to reign for one thousand years. Can you tell me where I can find this in scriptures? Also, what happens to resurrected Christians during and after the thousand year reign? Thanks.
Answer:
The ‘tribulation period’ is equivalent to the ‘Seventieth Week of Daniel chapter 9. This is the final 7 years of the Old Testament age of Law. The church age exists between the 69th week and the 70th week of Daniel. When Jesus died God’s clock stopped ticking as to God’s plan for the Jewish nation. Once the rapture happens, the last seven years will then tick ending with the Second Coming of Jesus and the beginning of the Millennium. We believers of the church age will come back and rule and reign with Christ. After the 1,000 years we will live with Christ in the New Jerusalem.
