Question:
The creamation talk made me think, at the rapture, do you think the actual dead bodies, and live ones, will go up? I can see why He didn’t leave Jesus’s body, but I don’t see why God would bother with these old shells as we will all be given brand new, uncorruptable bodies, perfect like The Lord’s. Any thoughts?
Answer:
At the rapture those living will be caught up in their physical bodies. These bodies will be transformed on the way up. The Bible states that for those died in the past that are believers, that their new bodies will rise up from the earth. I don’t think that this means that God will have to use the very same atoms that composed their earthly bodies. I believe God could find those specfic atoms if He needed to but I don’t that it is necessary. I am not going to worry about it. I am looking forward to my new body. I Corinthians 15:51-53.
