Q # 5281476

Question:

Can you outline for me the math in the prophecy in Ezekiel 4 concerning the judgement of Israel? I understand it predicts the rebirth of the nation of Israel to be 1948 but I forgot how to reach that number. Do you have any articles that explain a lot of other prophecies as well? Thank you!

Answer:

There would be 390 years plus 40 years of judgment or a total of 430 years of judgment that Israel owed to God. They paid 70 years OF THE PUNISHMENT in the BABYLONIAN CAPTIVITY. So that leaves us with 360 years of punishment still due. [430 minus 70 equals 360]. God said in Leviticus that if Israel learned nothing from their punishments that He would multiply them by seven [7]. So if we multiply 360 years times seven years we get 2,520 years of punishment. Adjusting 2,520 years to Biblical years of 360 days, we come out with 2,483.8 years. If we start with the year BC 536 when the Babylonian captivity ended and add 2,483.8 years of punishment. This means 2,483.8 minus 536.3 years, the result is 1948.5. Israel BECAUSE A STATE IN MAY OF 1948. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE PROPHECY.
