Hank, Up to Abraham from Adam and Eve are all these people inbetween lost? It is a real mystery to me that if God had a means for salvation why He then waited so many generations for Christ to come?

Peter answers your question. Acts 10:43 says, “To Him give all the prophets witness, that though His Name, whosoever believeth in Him, shall receive the remission of sins.” The prophets are the writers of the old Testament Scriptures. Peter tell us that they all spoke about Jesus Christ.
