Hank, I was wondering if you could give us some insight on 1John 2:4. I heard a preacher state that if we don’t keep His Commandments, that the truth {Christ} is not in us, meaning that we’re not saved. If this is the case, is anyone saved? Or is this talking about being out of fellowship? If we take it literally, it’s like this preacher stated, but if we take it in context, it’s talking about fellowship. Thanks and God Bless. Wally

This talking about fellowship. If you do not keep His commandments and say that you know Christ in an intimate way, ‘YOU ARE A LIAR.’ It doesn’t say you are not saved.
