Brother Hank. I was wondering what your thoughts were about this question. Is a baby born lost? According to Jesus, in John 3:18, by not believing, a person is condemned. This is the sin of unbelief, the unpardonable sin, blaspheming against the Holy Spirit. Can a baby, or a child that hasn’t reached the age of accountability, commit this sin that condemns them?
Answer:
Babies are not held accountable. See I Samuel 12:23 where David’s son died at seven days old and the baby went to heaven. Up until the age of accountablity all children will go to heaven.
