JESUS CHRIST is the Savior of the world and the fulfillment of all Biblical prophecies. In the classic text of John 1:1, John declares that the Word existed not only “in the beginning,” when He was “with God,” but also that He actually “was God.” This is the Word that became incarnate as real man in Jesus Christ, without ceasing to be what He had been from eternity. We believe in one Triune God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-eternal in being, identical in essence, equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfection.
Just as we have a very literal Savior in the Lord Jesus Christ, who fulfilled all biblical prophecies, we also have a very literal Bible that records these prophecies. Dr. C.I. Scofield says, “Fulfilled prophecy is proof of inspiration because the Scripture predictions of future events were uttered so long before the events transpired that no merely human sagacity or foresight could have anticipated them, and these predictions are so detailed, minute and specific, as to exclude the possibility that they were mere fortunate guesses.”
There are at least 333 prophecies of the First Coming of Christ that were literally fulfilled. Look at some of the fulfilled prophecies of the First Coming.

The Second Coming of Jesus will be just as literal as the First Coming. In Luke 1:31-33 we read, “And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David: And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end.” It is a fact that Mary conceived and brought forth a son and named Him Jesus. Many times people will believe verse 31 literally, because it has been fulfilled. But often the same people will not really take much stock in verses 32 and 33, which deal with the Second Coming of Christ. The fact that He will reign over the house of David and that His reign and kingdom will never end has not happened yet. But if someone believes one part of the scripture and not the other, that person is not being consistent.
If Christ came and literally fulfilled the prophecies in Psalm 22, Isaiah 53 and others of a suffering Messiah, will He not as surely come and likewise fulfill the prophecies of a glorified Messiah reigning in victory and majesty?
There are many hundreds of prophecies yet to be fulfilled. Let's look at a few of these.

These are but a few of the many prophecies that will be literally fulfilled at the Second Coming of Jesus. Many specific prophecies tell of the events to precede His coming. They mention Russia, the Western Nations, China and the third world nations. They speak of the events that will bring all nations against Jerusalem triggering the battle of Armegeddon [World War III]. These will be fulfilled with the same accuracy as the prophecies that have already been fulfilled.
Dr. C.I. Scofield sums up prophecy well in this sentence, “Hundreds of predictions concerning Israel, the land of Canaan, Babylon, Assyria, Egypt, and numerous personages–so ancient, so singular, so seemingly improbable, as well as so detailed and definite that no mortal could have anticipated them– have been fulfilled by the elements, and by men who were ignorant of them, or who utterly disbelieved them, or who struggled with frantic desperation to avoid their fulfillment.” Jesus is coming again and coming soon! Are you looking for His return?
If you have not trusted Christ as your Saviour, then you need to trust Him now! You will receive eternal life and the forgiveness of your sins the moment that you trust that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose again from the dead. He is your only hope of reaching heaven. If you simply trust Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you can be sure before you die that you will be going to heaven. I John 5:13 says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life.”
