Q # 1066447

Question:

Dr. Lindstrom what would and or should a believer tell someone if asked why does God allow bad things to happen to people, or why does he allow Satan to do bad things to people, weather or not they are beleivers or nonbelivers.

Answer:

Acts 14:17 says, “Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, filling our hearts with food and gladness.” Not all things are good, but Romans 8:28 tells us, “And we KNOW that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” God has a purpose.
