Question: With the rapture seemingly ever close, is there a time where having children would not be a sound idea because we are potentially so close to the rapture? Or is this just bad thinking.
Answer: I like to point to Psalms 127:3-5. Children are a blessing from the Lord, regardless of the time in which they are born. I would always encourage children within a marriage. I strongly encourage you and your wife to have them! Children bring so many opportunities to demonstrate God’s love. Children teach parents patience and communication. They bring about the opportunity to discipline as God disciplines His children. I would avoid thinking about how bad the world is and instead think of good God is. The children you have will be a great chance to show them God’s love. I hope this helps you and your wife!
