Q # 1955212

Question:

Come, and let us return unto the Lord:for he hath torn, and he will heal;He hath smitten, and he will bind us up.After 2 days will he revive us;in the 3rd day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning:and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth Hosea6:1-3 Isn’t the significance of the 3rd day = to our understanding of revival? Eph5:27 God is returning for a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle..? Are we not in the third day???

Answer:

No, the two days are the 2,000 years that Israel has been in disfavor with God and scattered among the nations. The third day is the 1,000 year reign of Christ during which the Jewish nation will be the head nation on the earth and they [the Jewish people] will live in His sight as Christ will visibly rule the earth from Jerusalem. “And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.” Zechariah 14:9
