dr Hank, If God is all knowing? Why did he put the tree of good and evil in the garden to start with, knowing full well that Eve would eat of the fruit. Why give her the temptation in the first place?
Answer:
God wanted creatures of who were not robots, but had choice. This is the price of having creatures who of their own choice choose to trust in the Lord.
