The Greek word ‘ergo’ means work; any effort expended. The same term used in science. It has nothing to do with whether the works are ‘good’ or ‘bad’ works. Good works don’t get us to heaven and Bad Works don’t send us to hell. Salvation has nothing to do with works, behavior, conduct, etc.
