That is correct. Jesus hears the trumpet as well as the angels. Unbelievers haven’t a clue. The rapture occurs and ends in the twinkling of an eye. There is no time to hear. We apparently respond because we are commanded, not because we heard a trumpet… Christians as well would not have time to hear the trumpet! I think it is much like the situation of Lazarus… he was dead and could not physically hear, BUT he was commanded and just had to rise up regardless of death or bonds.
