In Matt. 2:15 as it relates to Hosea 11:1, does the Apostle change what the Prophet meant? Hosea obviously was talking about national Israel coming out of Egypt. And Matt. obviously was talking about the individual Jesus. So how do you think that can that be reconciled hermeneutically?

Easily! Hosea 11:1 says, ” When Israel was a child [the nation of Israel in it’s infancy], I loved him, and called my son [Jesus] out of Egypt. Both the nation as an infant and Jesus as an infant were called out of Egypt.
