Dr. Lindstrom, in 1 John, chapter 4, verse 1, we are told to try the spirits, and in verse 2, we are told that every spirit that confesses that Jesus has come in the flesh, is of God. Would this mean that the flashy television evangelists that perform all of their show biz antics on television are really of God, if they proclaim that Jesus has come in the flesh?
Answer:
No! But the SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST denies the deity of Christ. Read II John verse 9. The Jesus of the Bible and the Jesus often presented by evangelists is not the same and this is the test.
