Q # 4990889

Question:

It is saddening (but not suprising) to read some of the questions/arguments posted on these pages by some of our brothers and sisters. Take for example, the argument about whether or not faith is a “work”, and that is the least of all works. The Bible clearly separates faith from works or “good deeds”. You can bake all the turkeys you want for your neightbors. If you do not place your faith in Jesus Christ, you get happy neighbors and an eternity apart from God. Why is that so difficult to understand? My question has to do with contemporary Christian music. I love it. I have church in my car everyday, all day with the music as a platform so-to-speak. There are some who are totally uncomfortable with it, Dr. Lindstrom. What do you think? I grew up in a small Methodist church, but I’m not going back to the days of no clapping, one piano, and one organ. That was not rejoicing – that was bondage.

Answer:

As long as the Words are Scriptural and correct, enjoy your music.
