Q # 5782098

Question:

I listen to your radio program and enjoy it. I hear many people call in and judge whether a person is saved or not. Today someone called in and questioned people’s salvation because of their reaction (or non-reaction) when he told them of all the abortions that have occurred. He suggested they weren’t saved because of their bland response. May I suggest to this fellow believer that perhaps he needs to “walk in their shoes” before he can decide what is behind someones reaction. I am saved, that is, I believe in Jesus Christ as my only way of salvation, what he did for me on the cross. However, I still have a past, a very rough past, and quite frankly, had I been aborted way back then, I would have been okay with that. Perhaps the caller had a great life and he doesn’t have horrific memories and other aspects in a past to struggle through, but perhaps others do. I would love to have had it all wiped away the moment I was saved – by grace – a gift from God, but the reality is, it isn’t. Thanks… carol

Answer:

Thank you, Carol. I understand.
