Concerning your gap theory, if there was death (especially the death of animals, etc.) prior to the sinning of Adam and Eve, then God did not create a perfect world for Adam and Eve to live in forever. How can God call everything that He made “good” when He did not create it perfect? How can God call everything that He made “good” when there was death in the world? Is our future with God going to have dying animals and plants in it too? A world is not perfect if it has death in it? SGP
Answer:
God did create the original earth perfect and inhabited. Death occured when Satan sinned and brought the destruction of the original earth. After the recreative week Adam sinned and brought death upon the recreation.
