Pastor, where does it say in the Book of Genesis that the earth is billons of year old? If you believe what the evolutionist “preach” about the long age theory of the universe, why do you not believe that everything evolved in which they also “preach”? Both the long age and short age of the universe are just theories. Why do you continue to push the ungodly view of the evolutionists? Satan will try whatever he can do to disprove or discredit God. Why don’t you just say what the Bible teaches that God created everything and we do not know for sure how old the earth and the universe is?

The Bible doesn’t say how old the earth is and therefore it is open for speculation. I do not believe in evolution, but I do believe that the Bible teaches that the orginal creation of the earth occured ‘in the beginning.’ Later the orginal earth was judged in Genesis 1:2. The seven days of Genesis chapter one were the restoration of the orginal earth so it it might inhabit life again. Feel free to apply your own dates.
