Whether or not I ask them, I really enjoy reading your answers, and I thank you for this opportunity. Regarding the raptured Christians that will be living in the New Jerusalem during Christ’s 1000 year reign. Do you think we will return to heaven after that 1000 years, how does lfe in heaven fit in with our living in the New Jerusalem? Thanks, you’ve cleared up everything else I’ve asked and I know you’ll clarify this one for me also.
Answer:
The ‘New Jerusalem’ does not appear until the 1,000 years are finished and the present earth is destroyed. See Revelation 21:1-4. The new heavens and new earth appears and then John sees the ‘New Jerusalem’ descending from heaven. All believers will live in the ‘New Jerusalem’ during eternity and we will enjoy the new earth. During the millenneum the raptured saints will come back with Christ as the Second Coming to rule and reign with Him a thousand years. God is going to make the ‘New Jerusalem’ His home for eternity and we will live with Him the Heavenly city. See Revelation 21:22-24. Thanks for the compliment!
