Question:
January 13, Pastor, Is it a sin to be naked? Concerning Genesis 2:25, 3:7-11, if being naked was a sin after eating of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil (at which time Adam and Eve became aware of it being a sin) then wouldn’t it (being naked) had to be a sin before Adam and Eve ate of said tree except that they weren’t aware of it?
Answer:
Hebrews 4:13 says, ‘ Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are NAKED and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.’ Adam and Eve’s sin was seen by God and Adam and Eve became immeadiately aware that they were NAKED AND EXPOSED TO THE ALMIGHTY GOD THAT THEY HAD SINNED AGAINST. Only God could have provided the covering that they required and God did in Genesis 3:21 in response to their FAITH.
