Pastor, Can a person say, ‘I know that I am saved by my works!’
Answer:
Most of those who claim to be Christians do make that claim. Matthew 7:22,23 says that many will bragg about what they have done in the name of Jesus as their claim for salvation. Jesus responds in Matthew 7:23 and says, ‘I NEVER KNEW YOU, DEPART FROM ME!’ So you can say what ever you want, but there is ONLY ONE WAY TO BE SAVED. ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and THOU SHALT BE SAVED!’
