Question:
I do believe a person must trust Jesus as their Savior as you brought up by telling me to read John 6:28&29. You missed the point of my question and that is when you believe or trust Jesus for salvation you will follow Him as John 10:27 states. Following Jesus is a work. If you have no works, you are not following the Savior and there is no evidence that you are saved.

Every believer will follow Christ into heaven. Jesus said again and again, “Where I go you CANNOT COME.” to those who rejected Him. Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man CAN COME UNTO THE FATHER EXCEPT BY ME.” Jesus is not referring to the Christian life. In the context, Christ is talking about following Him into HEAVEN. Read John 10:28 a favorite of mine.
