Dr. Lindstrom, this is a sensitive subject, but I think others might want to know your take on this, from a Biblical perspective as well. I noticed someone asked a question about masturbation. I’d like to know your perspective of that – for single people and married people. If your spouse has very little sexual drive, and you have a very strong sexual drive – and your spouse says it is OK to masturbate, is it OK? Please, I am not trying to be inappropriate at all – but this seems to be the safest arena in which to bring up the question. Thanks.

Hebrews 13:5 ‘Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled…” I believe whatever happens sexually within the marriage relationship is honorable and the bed undefiled. All sexual activity outside of the marriage bed is DISHONORABLE. This would include masterbation. Thanks for the tough question.
