Walvoord’s book,”Armageddon, Oil, and the Middle East Crisis”,page 226 says “The next step will require a peace settlement”…”The prophetic events predicted for the church indicate that these events will not occur, until the church, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, is removed from the world.” What is the correct meaning? Both. I Thessalonian 5:2 says that the unsaved will talk of peace and security and then the tribulation will come upon by surprise. Daniel says in Daniel 9:27 that the Antichrist will guarantee the peace for the first half of the tribulation.
