Q # 8926597

Question:

Hank, please explain Isaiah 56:1-9 It sounds like Isaiah is talking about the Sabbath, concerning the Gentiles who are converted under Christ, and they are still to keep the Sabbath. Thanks, Jim in Clw.

Answer:

During the millineum the Sabbath will be observed again. Not as a means of salvation as no one was ever saved by keeping the Sabbath or the law. Galatians 2:16 says, “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” It will be a means of blessing during that time.
