in a broadcast about 4 weeks ago you said that speaking in tongues was jibberish. the question was asked of you in acts the 2nd chapter that it was a 1 time event,i know you used 1 cor 13 where it says tongues should but it didnt say when.if you read the39th verse of acts 2 it says that this was tothem and their children and to as many as the lord shall call.i ask you,do you feel you are called? and if you are this gift of tongues is for today!! and could you also explain to me if i believe somme doctrines wrong but i’ve trusted the lord and believe in him,am i saved eternally or am i lost eternally.

No one is speaking in tongues today. The gift of tongues was to cease with the completion of the New Testament along with the gift of knowledge and prophecy. History supports this. Read I Corinthians 13:8-10. A conterfeit is being spoken today, not a known foreign language used for evangelism. See I Corinthians 14:22. A believer is saved forever. See John 6:47. Once you trust Christ, you are stuck and must go to Heavenl. See John 6:37,39.
