my best for your daughter and please answer whenever you can. after being brought up in the first baptist church and failing to answer the invitation to accept Christ after countless sermons, i was not saved until 9-26-02 at the age of 53. needless to say my marriage failed as my wife was not saved either. she sued me for divorce after starting a relationship with a man on the internet. she moved out before the divorce was final and after some weak attempts at counseling she did not stop the proceedings. at some point just before the divorce was final in april 1998 i engaged in 2 one night stands. before this point had never as much as flirted with another woman, but i was weak and stupid. i have no idea if she ever “consummated” her relationship with this guy or anyone else before the divorce was made final. i do know that we both had sexual relations with others after the divorce was final. i have 2 questions. #1 if God would ever bring me together with a Christian woman can i ever remarry? #2 if my ex would ever be saved would i be obligated to remarry her? i have absolutely no desire ever to remarry her even if she gets saved! your indulgence is greatly appreciated. may God bless you and your family and speed the recovery of your daughter.
