Today’s listener submitted question is a question that, I believe, is the question which causes so much confusion within Biblical Christianity. “Is faith without works dead?” I know you have heard this question discussed or you have asked it yourself. Listener, I want to be transparent with you before I take the time to answer this question… the Bible teaches that a person who believes on Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection for their sins… is full justified before God. They receive the righteousness of God right there in that moment.
“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:11
“Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” Romans 3:28
“But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” Romans 4:5.
Now, let’s dive into the Bible for a proper answer to the question… is faith without works dead?
