Answer:
The ‘Apocrypha’ were never accepted as Scripture. Jesus and the New Testament writers never once quote the Apocrypha. These books were written before Christ during the silent years when there were no prophets between 500 BC and John the Baptist. Since they were not written by a prophet or authentic spokesperson for God they were not accepted as Scripture. The Roman Catholic church included 15 of these writings in AD 1541. They were out of order. These books are not Scripture.
