Q # 7333652

Question:

One more note about the Blood of Christ. When Christ was paying for the sins of mankind, He was not bleeding anymore. He was perfect speciman of a man. Anyone that went through what He did, and was still able to carry a cross, had to be an awesome man. A normal man would die just from the lashings that He received. His blood had already clotted when He was paying for the sins of man. So, there was no blood loss at the time that He was paying for the sins of man. What paid for the sins was His Spiritual death on the cross. That is why He stated “My God, [the Father], and My God, [the Holy Spirit]” Also we notice that this is the first time that He didn’t use My Father when addressing the Father. He was separated from the Father, and the Spirit. That is when He was paying for the sins. Can you imagine, that all that He went through, and never said a word, until He was paying for the sins of man. All the pain that He suffered, was nothing compared to the pain of being out of fellowship with His Father. You have one of the clearest Gospel presentations that I’ve ever heard. I’ve been to your church before. Keep preaching Christ. God Bless! Wally

Answer:

Maybe you need to take a look at Revelation 1:5 which states, “Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,” Also the Bible states in Hebrews 9:22, “WITHOUT THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE IS NO REMISSION FOR SIN.’
