Dr. Lindstrom, when the Bible speaks of “works” as in “not of works lest any man should boast”, does “works” refer to #1. The works for Christ, such as withnessing, preaching, etc. Or #2. the works of a Christian, in his day to day battle of trying to live a sinless life, although we know that is not possible? Or both? Thanks.

NOT OF WORKS…….means ‘not of works’. Good works do not get a person to HEAVEN, nor do Bad works send a person to HELL. SALVATION IS NOT OF WORKS!
