Dr. Lindstrom, Could you please explain to me about the view that others take concerning the rapture? I understand that other talk show hosts on the radio, such as Hank Hanegraaff, don’t believe in the rapture. They think that we {the church} will have to go through the tribulation period and endure the horror while we await Christs return. What scriptures are they siting for their beliefs and which scriptures do they discount and why? Also, what is the term used for people holding that view? Thanks!

They do not believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible. There theology is flawed by going backward to carry the theology of the reformation into today’s world. Much of the reformation theology was Roman Catholic theology and was not dealt with during the stormy time of the reformation. The Roman Catholic is the same as regarding prophetic things. WRONG!
